chill wind cuts like knives
scarring the silent spans
                                   of flesh
clasping hands like lovers
         (quarrel)
they part and separate
but my heart feels no pain
i only watch as if
from afar...
as prerequisite tears
fall down my cheeks
mouth upturning unnaturally

isn't that what you wanted?
something fake but expected
a smile in the face of cruelty...
and empty pain rips
                                    down my spine

surrounded by rapids
